Finally a powerful LED replacement for the expensive RA-7512 (14V) and W1290 (28V) reflector-type navigation bulbs found on many General Aviation aircraft.
This package includes Two (2) RA-7512 LED replacements (cool white bulbs). BAY15S base. This is a direct replacement for reflector-type Navigation bulbs.
Selectable Constant-On or Flashing operation. When turned on initially, the bulbs are in Constant On mode. If turned off and turned on again within 3 seconds, the bulbs enter a Triple-flash mode (see video below).
Flashing mode helps improve visibility during daylight hours; Constant-on required by regulation for night operations
Applications include: Rotating Beacons and Navigation Lights 2.8 Watts of power; Low power consumption (less than 220mA @13.8V) 14VDC and 28VDC compatible.
About 30% brighter than incandescent BAY15S base (center contact; 2 off-set side retainers - see diagram). This base fits most Grimes and Whelen Navigation light fixtures.

No PMA/STC - (for Certified aircraft - these bulbs meet FAA illumination guidelines but have no STC/PMA - ask your IA/A&P to consider these as a "minor alteration"
